English

FlashCard (the “App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles data.

Data We Collect

The App does not collect your personal data and never sends the words you add to any server.

• The words, translations, examples and tags you add, along with your study progress and settings, are stored only on your device.
• The App has no account system. No sign-up or login is required.
• Word pronunciation uses the speech feature built into iOS and is processed on your device.

Anonymous Usage Statistics

To understand which features are actually used and to improve the App, we use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to collect anonymous usage statistics. This includes:

• Actions you take, such as completing a study session, using Listen Mode or Story Builder, changing the language, opening the upgrade screen, or subscribing.
• Basic device information, such as device model, OS version, App version and the App’s interface language.
• An anonymous per-installation identifier, used to count unique users.

This data cannot be used to identify you and is not linked to any other data about you. We do not record the content of the words you add. The App does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not share any data with advertisers or data brokers.

Subscriptions and Payments

Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple’s App Store. Payment information is managed by Apple; we never receive your credit card or payment details. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings.

Data Deletion

Your words and study progress are stored only on your device, and deleting the App removes them. Anonymous usage statistics cannot be linked to an individual, so they cannot be deleted on an individual’s request.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
